Abstract
Background and purpose: of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, a person faces many issues and
problems that affect his life. The aim of the current research is to review the research conducted in the field of
interventions based on emotional information processing and executive functions in students with attention
deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
Materials and Methods: Data analysis in the current study was done in a systematic review. Its methodology
is based on collecting, classifying and summarizing the findings of scientific-research articles related to
interventions based on emotional information processing and executive functions in students with attention
deficit/hyperactivity disorder between 2010 Until 2024, taken from Scopus, Google Scholar, PubMed, Absco,
Eric, Science Direct databases as well as the databases of Jihad Academic Information Center, Comprehensive
Humanities Portal, Iran Doc, Mogiran, Normagz with keywords of information processing interventions.
emotional, executive functions, quality of life in school, students with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
68 articles were selected in the initial search and 18 articles whose title was emotional information processing,
executive functions in people with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder were selected.
Findings: The results showed that this intervention is suitable for improving executive functions. Conclusion
Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that interventions based on emotional information
processing are one of the relevant treatments for people with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and can
improve executive functions in students with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
