Background: Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is one the stress-related anxiety disorder that can occur after one or more specific traumatic experiences. Traumatic events are served as a treat to health and safety. These events may affect the course of the natural growth, academic performance, and other functional abilities of each students which cause post-traumatic stress disorder. Todays, the present study aimed to explore the integrated factors in post-traumatic stress disorder and find new comprehensive therapeutic interventions. Conclusion: The symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder rarely disappear completely. The comorbidity of this disorder with other mental ones, the risk factors and the complex nature of such a disorder, as well as the possibility of returning and relapsing its symptoms requires further studies to identify, evaluate clinically and apply new and comprehensive therapeutic interventions against the current traumatic events. Further studies are necessary for these interventions in order to determine their effectiveness and clinical significance.
