Background: The main goal of special education is to prepare students for living independently. One of the factors that led to independence in life is successful employment. Employment helps individuals to achieve economic and social efficiency and gain self-esteem and respect in society. Pre-vocation is a critical period for preparation of individuals with intellectual disability Therefore, training the basic skills to individuals with intellectual disability is necessary. In this study, the basic skills required for the job readiness of students with intellectual disability will be considered and recognized.
Conclusion: It is suggested that curriculum of pre-professional courses revise according to the findings of this study and opportunity of practicing this skills be prepared
