Abstract
 
Background and purpose: There wasnchr('39')t any study about the Shawchr('39')s method on the Processing Speed of pupils with Borderline Intellectual Functioning. The aim of this study was to investigate the Effectiveness of training based on Shawchr('39')s method on the Processing Speed of pupils with Borderline Intellectual Functioning (BIF).
Method: The Statistical population this study was all pupils with Borderline Intellectual Functioning in the city of Esfahan, in the 96-95 school year. Based on the framework of single case by using Multiple –baselines, 4 pupils with Borderline Intellectual Functioning were selected available sampling by using 2 Instruments the Wechsler Fourth Intelligence Scale (WISC-IV) and clinical interviews from one of the school in city of Esfahan. The Selected pupils– one by one were under Shawchr('39')s method 16 sessions. All pupils were assessed during three stages (pre-training, during therapy and follow up) by Data were analyzed using single subject method.
Result: The data analysis showed that Shawchr('39')s method is significantly effective in increasing of Processing Speed pupils with Borderline Intellectual Functioning.
Conclusion: Regarding the current study, it can be said that Shawchr('39')s method is an appropriate choice for increase Processing Speed pupils with Borderline Intellectual Functioning
